SKILLS, SKILLS, SKILLS! I've had the great fortune to use a number of resources for my Network Automation Studies. Over the next few posts I will outline what I've used and what I have found the best! As a foundational skill I would say you need to have entry level Python skills. So before you deep dive into any online Network Automation courses, do yourself a favor and start practicing Python. If you are planning to take any certification exams, associate level guides do provide you with some foundational Python elements which helps but is not a replacement of a book like: 'Learn Python the hard Way', by Z.Shaw. So there you have it. Skill no 1: Get some entry level Python practice in! PS. No one can ever take the knowledge you work hard for away from you!
